12. Heyri Art Valley
Heyri Art Valley is such a place to promote the culture of a united Korean community. Many sources told that over the last 10 years, Heyri has transformed the border city of Paju into a symbol of optimism and peace. The founders of Heyri have started a movement to bring life and art to a land that was nothing but desolate a few short years ago.


Actually, Heyri has nearly 400 artist members, who work in such diverse mediums as painting, print, ceramic, mosaic, sculpture, film, photography, jewelery, and drawing, among many others. Heyri's artists have the freedom to create anything they can imagine. For the artists who live there Heyri is not just their home, it is their community, their inspiration, and their studio. Sure they feel fortunate to be able to live and work in such a place.


It's impossible to leave Heyri without feeling inspired and adoring it contents. As the plus tip, you better talk directly with the the artists to more understand about their arts. This valley has made up of some 150 buildings, such as gallery, studio, museum, cafe or restaurant. The artists also run their business here. So it's not an impossible thing anymore to have some brunch or hang out in the unique place and there's no boring here, guaranteed !!


13. Cheonggyecheon Stream
What a great place to take a little rest. Located in the heartof Seoul, Cheonggyecheon Stream brings something fresh for the visitors. This stream is totally special. How couldn't it be when the stream boast of sparkling clean water ?? Everyone can enjoy this place whenever, day or night will never reduce the beauty of this stream. Actually, Cheonggyecheon Stream used to exist merely as an overpass neglected in 1970 until it was restored in 2005, becoming a heaven of natural beauty amidst the bustle of city life.


Cheonggyecheon Stream offers many beautiful sights to see and enjoy:
  1. The grand fountain, located in Cheonggye Plaza
  2. Dapgyonori on the Gwangtong Bridge - a ritual of crossing the bridge on the first full moon of the new year to ensure that for one year, the one who crosses will not have any leg ailments.
  3. A ceramic mural of a king making a grand voyage to Hwaseong, Jeongjobanchando
  4. A colorful cloth wall made of fabrics from Dongdaemun’s fashion district
  5. A cultural wall painting by 5 local artists
  6. A reproduction of an area where folk woman used to do their laundry
  7. A wishing wall, where more than 20,000 people have written their deepest desires
  8. A tunnel fountain
  9. Jonchigyogak, an angle of intersection left behind when the Cheonggye overpass was removed
  10. The aquatic life dwelling among the willows
  11. The foods
